Employee spotlight: Levi’s journey at Timmerman
At Timmerman, we take pride in the skilled craftsmen that make up our team, working every day with passion and expertise on our projects. In this blog, we give the floor to Levi, who started as an intern six years ago and has now become a key part of our workshop. He shares his experience, growth, and pride in the work he has accomplished at Timmerman.
Levi began his career at Timmerman as an intern after completing his training at Richt.eco. His talent and motivation quickly stood out, giving him the opportunity to continue with us after his internship. Under the guidance of Koen, a seasoned craftsman in our workshop, Levi learned the ins and outs of the trade. “Koen really took me under his wing during my first year and taught me step by step,” says Levi.
After a year, Levi earned his own workstation in the workshop, where he began working independently on various projects. “Collaboration with my colleagues is still key,” Levi emphasizes, “we constantly share knowledge and help each other when needed.” He now works closely with Torre, and together they also mentor new employees within the team.
What gives Levi the most satisfaction? Completing projects from start to finish. “You see the entire process and the final product in all its glory. That makes me proud.” Levi also enjoys taking photos of the projects he’s worked on, creating a portfolio of the achievements he’s realized over the years.
